Gaming Deal Wednesday: February 3

In coming up with some new ideas for a weekly series, I decided to cover the weekly game deals from Humble Bundle and Steam in two editions: The Wednesday Edition, and the Saturday Edition. Largely I decided upon doing it this way because Steam has a Mid-Week Madness sale on a select handful of games, along with a Weekend Sale, and Humble Bundle adds content throughout the week based upon engagement. Since Humble Bundle runs their sales for quite some time, I will periodically be covering some of the best deals from G2A. Without further ado, I present the first edition of Gaming Deal Wednesday!

The Latest Humble Bundle

For those of you that aren’t familiar with Humble Bundle, it’s essentially a digital store where most of the proceeds go to a charity of your choosing. Every week they have a large ‘bundle’ of games for a minuscule donation amount going to a specific charity, where the bundle increases in size and value the more you donate. This week Ubisoft is showcasing an impressive four-tier donation structure with some amazing perks. For just $1 donation you snag Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Grow Home, and Rayman Origins. At the time I’m writing this, for a donation of less than $8 nets you Far Cry 3, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, with more coming soon. Throw at least $15 in and you grab Assassin’s Creed Rogue and The Crew. Lastly, for a mere $75, you get everything and a pre-order of Tom Clancy’s The Division, A Division T-Shirt, and 66% off any three Ubisoft titles in the Humble Store. Considering that the money is going to the Extra Life/Children’s Miracle Network, this deal is a win-win.

Steam’s Mid-Week Madness

Steam has some notable sales going on this week. Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently 10% off, as is Bombshell. As a fan of the Batman: Arkham series, it’s great to see that Arkham Knight is currently 40% off. These are just a few of the notables, however there are several other specials currently running on software titles, downloadable content, and around 70 total games. Check it out and grab yourself a few discounted games this week.
